Gn - Gneisium
Gneisium was discovered shortly after the initial colonization of Mars in 2073. While excavating in the SW Melas Basin, rich veins of Gneisium were found throughout the region. While initially thought to be common terrestrial gold, it was quickly discovered that the only similarities that Gneisium had to gold was in visual material properties. In its natural state Gneisium was found to be extremely malleable with simple tools, almost like firm clay, but when exposed to an oxygen rich atmosphere it quickly becomes harder than Drypodium making it the hardest natural substance known to exist. This made it invaluable during colonization. What makes Gneisium even more unique is that when it is separated from an oxygen rich atmosphere, it quickly reverts back to its malleable state allowing for easy retooling. These properties make Gneisium the most significant zero-waste discovery in the history of humanity. After spending 20 years as an Art Director in the video game industry and partnering with some of the biggest names in entertainment I stepped away from games to create my own unique style of fine art. My art pieces are created with a proprietary method that I developed after leaving the games industry. It utilizes several specialized software programs and is a fine balance between artistic and technical methodologies. 2D photo editing software is never used.
