​"Ausencias" is the second part of this series of family portraits. I treat more personal concerns, structuring a narrative about the events of the past from the images I find in my family file. The series maintains the visual logic initiated in ABRIL, however, it separate from the first part by its theme and physical characteristics as a texture, replacement of selected objects and memories. Absent is because of those who are no longer, and at the same time, for a moment that I did not have to live, but that it formed a character in those around me and, consequently, a character in me.
