The History of Art is revisited via a series of quotations. This abstract piece resembles a face composed of geometric planes of non-naturalistic color and accented by bar-shaped features. As he wrote in 1929, the year he painted Upward, “I do not choose form consciously; it chooses itself within me".

Cedric Fangeat is a French multidisciplinary artist whose main focus in recent years is 3D art, (Stills, animations, and simulations.).
