Duck orchid

Caleana major, also called flying duck, is a small orchid that flourishes in South Australia. This terrestrial plant offers a remarkably beautiful flower, similar to a duck in flight. Native to southern and eastern Australia, where it is found in sunny meadow areas, as well as in open eucalypt woodlands and swampy coastal areas with shrubs.
