Survival of the Greenest

Is it about growing humans like plants or growing plants like humans? Perhaps it is about the concept of cloning and genetically modified organisms (GMOs)? Maybe it is about isolating oneself from the outside world and taking time away from everything else, focusing solely on plants and thereby gradually rebuilding oneself—through meditation, philosophical reflection, prayer, wonder, and personal growth. Just like everything in nature, there is a path that leads to perfection. A tree becomes perfect once it reaches its growth stages and eventually bears fruit. To achieve that level of perfection, it requires sunlight, water, soil, and more. Perhaps positive thoughts and positive words are necessary too. People often overlook the importance of removing weeds, pests that could harm the tree, and other obstacles to its growth. We, as human beings, are on the same journey. To attain perfection and personal growth, we need love, wisdom, and various positive activities that nurture our bodies and souls. However, we often forget that we also need to eliminate the negative influences and behaviors that hinder our progress. How can we do this? By eliminating one bad habit or immoral behavior at a time. Gradually, we let go of these vices and steadily build ourselves up until we can finally bear fruit. What is the fruit we can offer to others? I will reveal that in the next piece. With love, 1984
